Kevin J. Kwilinski
Chief Executive Officer
Kevin J. Kwilinski was appointed Chief Executive Officer on October 2, 2023. Mr. Kwilinski has nearly 30 years of experience in the packaging industry, serving as the CEO of multiple companies within the space over the last 15 years. Prior to joining Berry Global, Mr. Kwilinski previously served as President and CEO of Multi-Color Corporation since October 2021. Prior to that, he served as CEO of Fort Dearborn Company, which merged with Multi-Color in 2021, from May 2017 to November 2021, CEO for Paperworks Industries from March 2014 to May 2017 and Portola Packaging from May 2009 to October 2013. Preceding Mr. Kwilinski’s experience as a CEO, he spent 12 years at Graphic Packaging, where he served in a number of positions across the organization in general management, supply chain, operations, and sales. Mr. Kwilinski holds a bachelor’s degree in physics and mathematics from Greenville College and a master’s degree in industrial and operations engineering from the University of Michigan.
Mark W. Miles
Chief Financial Officer
Mark W. Miles has been Chief Financial Officer since January 2014. Mr. Miles previously served as Berry’s Executive Vice President, Controller and Treasurer from August 2005 to January 2014. Mr. Miles started with the Company as Corporate Controller in 1997.
Kevin V. Cato
Executive Vice President, Lean Transformation
Kevin V. Cato was appointed Executive Vice President, Lean Transformation for Berry Global in May 2024. In this role, Mr. Cato oversees global lean transformation and continuous improvement, working across the business to implement proven tools and comprehensive techniques to lead the operational roadmap and production quality. Mr. Cato has more than 30 years of experience delivering improved operating margin by developing and instilling lean operational and strategic business principles for industry leading organizations. Mr. Cato started his operations management experience with Honda, Danaher, and Honeywell Operations. Mr. Cato held several Director, Management, and Vice President of Operations positions across Caterpillar, Stanley Black & Decker, ITW and most recently Envista Holdings Company. Mr. Cato holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Tennessee State University, Master of Business Administration degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt from Danaher Business Systems.
Edmund J. Doering
Executive Vice President & Chief Information Officer
Edmund J. Doering joined Berry as Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer in August 2024. Mr. Doering oversees the company’s digital strategy and technology initiatives. He brings over 30 years of leadership experience in Manufacturing, Engineering, Customer Service, and Information Technology. Prior to joining Berry, he served as Chief Digital Officer at Emerson Electric and as Chief Information Officer of Emerson Automation Solutions. Mr. Doering holds a bachelor’s degree in Physics from Miami University and a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder.
Jean-Marc Galvez
President Consumer Packaging – International Division
Jean-Marc Galvez has been President of Berry’s Consumer Packaging – International Division since July 2019. Mr. Galvez served as President of Berry’s Consumer Packaging Division from January 2017 to July 2019, and as President — Europe, Middle East, India, and Africa of the Company’s Health, Hygiene and Specialties Division from November 2015 to January 2017. He was President — EMEIA Global Building and Geosynthetics for AVINTIV, Inc., which Berry acquired in 2015, from May 2014 to November 2015 and served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of the EMEIA region at Polymer Group, Inc. from April 2012 to May 2014. Mr. Galvez holds a master’s and bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Ecole Nationale Superieure de Chimie in Montpellier, France and has completed its general manager executive education at IESE Business School.
Rodgers K. Greenawalt
Executive Vice President Operations
Rodgers K. Greenawalt was appointed Executive Vice President of Operations for Berry Global in 2013. In this role, Mr. Greenawalt provides strategic leadership for the Company-wide operations, safety, product development, and creative services teams. Mr. Greenawalt has extensive management and packaging experience most recently serving as EVP of Product Management for Berry Plastics’ Rigid Open Top division, prior to which he served as EVP Operation for the Company’s Rigid Closed Top division. Greenawalt holds Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Management from Clemson University.
Jason K. Greene
Executive Vice President Chief Legal Officer and Secretary
Jason K. Greene has been Berry’s Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer since February 2016. He previously served as Berry’s Executive Vice President and General Counsel from January 2013 to February 2016. He was hired in December 2010 as Berry’s Deputy General Counsel. Mr. Greene holds a Bachelor of Accounting, Master of Accounting, and Juris Doctor all from the University of Florida.
Michael E. Hill
President Flexibles Division
Michael E. Hill has been President of Berry’s Flexibles Division since December 2018. He previously served as Berry’s Executive Vice President and General Manager of various segments with the Consumer Packaging Division from November 2015 to December 2018. Mr. Hill started with Berry in 1997 during which time he held multiple positions of increasing responsibility in operations, sourcing, marketing, and sales. Mr. Hill holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Middle Tennessee State University and is also a certified Six Sigma Green Belt.
William J. Norman
President Consumer Packaging – North America Division
William J. Norman has been President of Berry’s Consumer Packaging – North America Division since July of 2019. Previously, Mr. Norman served as Berry’s EVP – Consumer Packaging Commercial Operations, after serving as EVP & GM Consumer Packaging Food since 2016. From 2014 – 2016, he held the position of President of the Company’s Rigid Open Top Division. Mr. Norman joined Berry in 1993 and has held managerial and vice president positions in accounting, finance, and commercial and strategic planning. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Southern Indiana.
Joy N. Roman
Chief People & Strategy Officer
Joy N. Roman joined Berry as Chief People & Strategy Officer in April 2024. Ms. Roman began her career as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company. She then spent 10 years at 3M in roles of increasing responsibility across the strategy and human resources functions before transitioning to Chief Human Resources Officer roles at Toll Brothers and the De Beers Group. Ms. Roman has lived and worked in the United States, Asia, and Europe. She holds a master’s degree in business administration from the Yale School of Management and a bachelor’s degree in English and communications from the University of Wisconsin.
