An extruded parison or hollow tube of plastic flows out of a round die and into a mold. The mold closes and blown air is introduced to form a bottle. Berry Global offers a wide range of hollow product sizes and shapes with the option of different openings.
Injection Blow Molding
Injection Blow Molding delivers melted plastic that is injected into a preform station, then rotated to a blow station. At the blow station, high pressure air will blow the preform into the desired bottle shape. Berry Global offers a wide variety of stock bottle sizes and styles. We also provide a custom look and feel for bottles 500ml and under.
Reheat & Blow Molding
The Reheat & Blow Molding process takes a premade preform and reheats it to soften the plastic. It is then placed into blow cavities and blown into the desired shape. Reheat & Blow Molding delivers very thin walls with high-clarity in parts.
Injection Stretch Blow Molding
A wide variety of bottle size and styles are available in a clear PET botte with 1.5 Stage Injection Stretch Blow Molding. Melted plastic is injected into a preform station, then rotated to a blow station. At the blow station, high pressure air will blow the preform into the desired bottle shape.
