Evansville, IN, December 15, 2008 - Berry's award-winning packaging design team and its collaborative partnerships with customers were recognized by the New Jersey Packaging Executives Club (NJPEC) as the recipient of two package design awards. The NJPEC was established in 1963, and 2008 marked the 30th anniversary of the prestigious Innovative Package Award. This year the NJPEC judges selected the following innovative Berry Plastics packages:
Silver Award ConAgra's Healthy Choice Café Steamers The injection molded PP trays are manufactured at our Lawrence, KS, facility. The tray design was a joint effort between the Berry Design Center lead team and ConAgra's R&D packaging team. |
Bronze Award Kraft Cool Whip Aerosol Overcap The Kraft dollop overcap is produced at our Evansville, IN, plant. It was a joint effort between the Berry Design Center lead team and Kraft's R&D packaging team. |
