(NYSE: BERY), is proud to announce that its Flexible Intermediate Bulk Containers (FIBC) group recently received two significant awards from one of its valued customers: Eastman Chemical Company. Berry Plastics was one of approximately 21 suppliers from Eastman’s 6,000 vendors, to be awarded Eastman’s Supplier Excellence Award. The Company was also presented with an Innovation Award for 2013.

The Supplier Excellence Award recognizes suppliers who demonstrate consistency and high performance in metrics such as on-time delivery, conformance to specifications, and continual improvement efforts. The Innovation Award is presented to suppliers that effectively work to better the company’s product, resulting in improved performance.
