In response to the ever-growing popularity of gins and the continuing increase in online drinks sales, Berry Agile Solutions has launched a new postal 50ml PET Spirit Bottle, a lightweight bottle that’s ideal for the e-commerce market. This latest innovation underlines Berry Global’s ability to anticipate and adapt to meet the latest market developments and emerging trends worldwide.
Available in both round and square designs, the clarity of the PET bottle helps to convey a premium image for the drinks, and it can be fully personalised to individual brand requirements through a variety of printing and labelling options. Recognising customer sustainability commitments, and with in-depth technical experience, the bottle can be specified with varying levels of post-consumer recycled (PCR) content.
The new bottle complements Berry Agile Solution's range of 5cl miniature spirit bottles, perfect for samplers and gift packs, to enable drinks manufacturers to create a family image across their e-commerce offering.
In addition to its range of standard bottles, Berry Agile Solution's in-house design team can work with customers to create a bespoke shape and unique identity to support specific branding objectives.
“Even before the coronavirus pandemic, online sales for premium drinks was a notable growth sector,” commented Manish Nagar, Business Development Manager, at Berry's Llantrisant site. “Our bottle provides the perfect solution, with its clarity and durability helping to promote a quality image while its lightweight and resistance to breakage provide a safe and efficient solution for postal deliveries.”
The launch of the new bottle reflects in particular the huge popularity of gin. Berry Agile Solutions says that the number of distilleries now producing the drink represents 66% of the spirits market with over 280 dedicated to gin production and a reported 800 brands available in the UK market alone.
